Wood Ridge NJ, At 9:58 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020, a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle on Route 17 South in front of 255 Route 17 in Wood-Ridge, NJ. The victim, a 20-year-old man from Roxbury, MA, was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Fatal Accident Investigation Unit under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti, the Wood-Ridge Police Department under the direction of Chief John Korin, and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office under the direction of Sheriff Anthony Cureton.
