Ridgewood NJ, Based on a letter Dr. Fishbein received from the Superintendent of Elections voicing concerns about safety at schools that are open on Election Day 2020, the Board discussed the pros and cons of altering the school calendar next year on that date as well as additional security measures that might be implemented that day. The Board consensus was to keep the schools open that day.

  1. It doesn’t sound like it was the BOE trying to stop it, it sounds like it was the Superintendent of Elections?

  2. Right. Not the BOE but the Superintendent of Elections.

  3. This is just plain stupid. How many voters have shot up schools compared to students shooting up schools? The answer is no voter has ever shot up a school. This is fear mongering plain and simple.

  4. Our Super Duper Super (Dan the Man Fishbein) publicly stated that he’s not concerned about voters entering Ridgewood public school buildings to vote. According to Dan, all but 2 of the schools are reportedly secured; voters enter the designated polling places from exterior doors and have access to the rest of the building. Dan did not identify the 2 schools that are not secure. So stuff that fact up your tight ass Ms. Siobhan Winograd.

  5. Actually, voters DO NOT have access to the rest of the school buildings. Typo.

  6. Yeah Siobhan sucks wtf
