Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood High School Jeffrey Nyhuis, Principal said in an email ,”We look forward to graduating the Class of 2024 tonight at Ridgewood High School. In light of the extreme heat, we will delay the start of the ceremony by thirty minutes to 5:30 PM. We will also shorten the ceremony without affecting the student speeches and performances. The goal is to keep our students and guests safe.”
Students’ arrival time will be 4:30 PM not 4:00 PM.
Parents will have access to the stadium at 4:30 PM, not 4:00 PM.
Graduation ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 PM.
Internet Streaming of Graduation : The Little Theatre, Learning Commons, and Cafeteria will be open and streaming the graduation live for those who wish to watch the event in an air-conditioned space, starting at 4:30 P.M. Tickets are not needed. Space in these locations will be first-come, first-served. For friends and family that wish to watch the graduation from the comfort of their own home, the ceremony can be viewed from the RHS Live Stream, starting at 4:30 PM.
In addition, Benjamin Franklin Middle School will be open to the public during graduation – you are welcome to stop in and see the magic of Project Graduation 2024!

Liars! The excessive heat did not push the ceremony back, as a result of comments on the Ridgewood blog they were embarrassed, and that’s what pushed the ceremony back.

As predicted on this blog, the lazy principal butchered 50% of the kids names. Weeks to prepare and he didn’t get it done. An embarrassment.

What joke; he is the face of the District. Making $260,000 he could have helicopter in for the graduation. Fire him!
