Ridgewood NJ, on January 26 some time around 8:00 am an elderly woman driver lost control of her car ,jumped a curb and hit a light pole on Chestnut Street in Ridgewood’s central business district. Ridgewood Police, Fire and Emergency Services as well as other Village employees rushed to the scene. We have no information as to the woman’s status . 1. Not even if she was rushing around the corner to get his fake Greek food. So stop.

      Hopefully granny will stay off the road and stick to darning socks in front of her wood stove whilst regaling her 2-spirit non-binary tatted-up grandchildren with tales about the great onion famine of eighteen diggety three.

      1. The aged driver in question was an unwitting sleeper cell (think Manchurian Candidate) programmed by mayor PV and deputy mayor PP. The sleeper activation term is “I UNDERTAND.”
        Beware! There are more out there …

    1. The article is only a paragraph long, yet you still couldn’t be bothered to read it before commenting.

      Somehow I don’t think granny was wake n’ baking and browsing her insta feed.

      1. So… It’s OK to be Ageist?

        Racist = Bad
        Ageist = Good ?

        Just trying to figure out which groups I can hate upon.

        1. It’s OK to point out that people who can’t see, can’t hear, and who don’t have the sharpest reflexives shouldn’t be operating 2-ton metal killing machines. That’s not ageist. That’s sensible and responsible. Thank goodness it was just a curb this time.

          And you shouldn’t hate anyone. Why are you looking for someone to hate? “There but for the grace of God, go I,” and so on and so forth. Respecting reality is not hateful, but denying reality comes close.

        2. How is it ageist to think the driver WASN’T impaired by being high???

  5. Probably got confused by white arrow on sidewalk.

  6. Silly place to park – 224 parking spots open in the garage…

    1. 224? Wow! Business is good at the garage.

  7. Most of us feel that they should put a police officer back on the walking beat throughout the CBD like years ago, of course the police department will come back, and site was shorthanded. Then you can always hire a special officer.

    1. Walking the beat? It’s much easier to collect overtime when you just sit in your vehicle and play on your phone.

  8. The village definitely needs police walking the CBD. Many towns always had police in their business sections. Anyway, it’s good public relations to do that. You have a rotation, but of course there’s always someone going to cry it’s too hot it’s raining, what happened to the police on the bicycles, and the motorcycles, I remember when they be two cops in each car. Well, anyway, some of these cops need some exercise. Holy moly have some of them gotten out of shape, can you imagine if the villager Ridgewood sent everyone for a fit for duty. they would probably lose 15 to 25 employees, from what we say they won’t be able to perform.

  9. Hey Pete you’re going to need just for men hair dye.

  10. Someone learned how to use emoji’s but not how to preview.. likely on town payroll spending all day on the blog!!
