Fair Lawn NJ, It’s a classic scenario: a cat stuck in a tree, firefighters to the rescue. The latest rendition of this age-old story unfolded on Sunday afternoon, July 21st, in the 0-00 block of Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn.
The star of the day was “Blinky,” a curious feline who found himself stranded atop a large pine tree. The heroic firefighters from Fair Lawn Fire Company #2, with assistance from Fire Company #3, sprang into action to bring Blinky safely back to the ground.
The rescue mission was a success. After his dramatic descent, Blinky was safely placed in a pet carrier and headed home with his relieved owner.
