Mahwah NJ, yes we missed it, guitar aficionados June 9th was  Les Paul Day in Mahwah ! Lester William Polsfuss, known as Les Paul, was born June 9, 1915 in Waukesha, Wisconsin and dubbed “The Wizard of Waukesha”. Les was a well-known American Jazz, Country and Blues Guitarist. Les was also a Songwriter, Luthier and Inventor.

GONZALEZ (DOB: 9/06/1996; single; laborer) of Middletown, New York on charges of Sexual Assault, Criminal Sexual Contact, Criminal Restraint, Terroristic Threats, Possession Of A Weapon For An Unlawful Purpose, and Simple Assault. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Mahwah Police Department under the direction of Chief Stephen Jaffe.

In attendance were representatives from Orange and Rockland, AT&T, Verizon, TK Wireless, Boswell engineering, the Mayor, the Administrator, the Fire Chief, and members of the Construction Dept.”

CVS Health Expands Access to COVID-19 vaccines

Mahwah NJ,  Starting Thursday, February 11, CVS Health (NYSE: CVS) will begin to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to eligible populations at a limited number of CVS Pharmacy locations across 11 states. Supply for the initial rollout, which is sourced directly from the federal government through the pharmacy partnership program, will be approximately 250,000 total doses. As more supply becomes available the company will expand to additional states while increasing the number of stores offering vaccinations.

ZIMMERMANN (DOB: 10/02/1947; married; retired) of 27 Indian Field Court, Mahwah, NJ on charges of Murder, Possession Of A Weapon For An Unlawful Purpose and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. The arrest is the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti, the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office under the direction of Sheriff Anthony Cureton, and the Mahwah Police Department under the direction of Chief Stephen Jaffe.

In Mahwah Growing Bamboo Can Get You Fined

Mahwah NJ, the Township of Mahwah  has joined a growling list  of New Jersey municipalities  to pass an ordinance that limits new plantings of Bamboo to impervious above-ground planters or 30-inch-deep polypropylene-lined trenches .Neighbors and the township may also seek owner reimbursement for removing invasive bamboo, and violations of a township notice to clear the plantings will result in a fine of $1,000 per day the violation continues.
