Ridgewood Council Proposes Military Flyover Despite Environmental and Wildlife Concerns

Ridgewood NJ, at last night’s meeting, Ridgewood’s Village Council stunned residents by endorsing Councilman Evan Weitz’s proposal for a military flyover to celebrate the Fourth of July. Council members Pam Perron and Siobhan Winograd citing excitement over the spectacle. With unanimous support from the Council and Village Manager, the financial and environmental costs of the flyover are completely out of sync with the community’s values.
