A resident in town reported seeing a white female party, in her mid 30’s, brown hair, medium build, get out of a dark red/maroon colored Toyota sedan (possibly Camry or Corolla). The female party walked to the rear of the vehicle, assisted whom appeared to be a juvenile (possibly 7-8 years of age), into the trunk of the vehicle before taking off. The reporting party stated there was no struggle, altercation or dispute while this was occurring. The vehicle was last seen headed westbound on Washington Avenue towards Pascack Road. It should be noted the car came from eastbound Washington Avenue prior to turning Northbound on Chestnut Street. The picture below is of the exact vehicle that we are looking for, which was captured on a residents’ security camera.

Wow actually a real description….. I’ll look forward to continuing accurate reports from the PD
Only because the person in question was a pale face.
Also I don’t think model of car has a true trunk, i.e. it’s open to the back seats. It’s illegal but sometimes kids like to ride back there. Maybe they weren’t feeling well.
If the Township of Washington Karen was that concerned they should have pursued.
Well, which is better, report it and it turns out to have an innocent explanation, or not report it and it turns out to be something serious?
Of course, you’re missing the point entirely. “To report or not to report” is not the question Hamlet. If the situation was truly serious, then calling the police, filing a report, and waiting for an investigation to be conducted and other potential witnesses to chime in, is just killing time and potentially … killing, or whatever else, time. So you’ve accomplished nothing for the potential victim, but at least you feel like you did something upstanding.
Yeah, I would’ve chased the car down, make sure everything‘s OK, but that’s because I’m a bad ass
Any follow-up?
