Wyckoff NJ, from the Wyckoff police ,Christian Health Care Center (CHCC)’s COVID-19 preparedness plan is in full action to diligently and proactively ensure the health and safety of those entrusted to our care, our staff, and the community.
Because we care for the most vulnerable population, we are taking aggressive precautionary measures to adhere to guidelines made by the New Jersey Department of Health, Centers for Medicaid & Medicare, and Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
VISITATION IS RESTRICTED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Only individuals visiting a loved one who is on end-of-life (hospice) care will be permitted.
In consideration of the latest recommendations from the New Jersey Department of Health, and because of our commitment to protect the health of our community, beginning on Monday, March 16, Christian Health Care Adult Day Services of Wayne and Wyckoff will be closed until further notice.
CHCC’s delivery of quality care is seamless and uninterrupted. Staffing levels are maintained throughout our continuum of care. To ensure utmost patient and resident safety, CHCC employees must be cleared with state-regulated screening.
Outpatients, clients, and consumers experiencing fever, cough, shortness of breath, have recently traveled to high-exposure areas, or have been in close contact with people exhibiting symptoms will be required to reschedule their appointments.
All non-essential activities, events, meetings, gatherings, etc. are cancelled until further notice.
To support infection-control measures, entrances at Heritage Manor East and Heritage Manor West remain locked.
CHCC has established a new information line: (201) 848-4400. This line is updated daily, or more frequently, if necessary.
One of the best protective methods against COVID-19 and any other virus or infection is proper hand washing (see graphic below). Hand sanitizers must contain 60 to 95 percent alcohol to be an effective alternative.
