  4. That’s a lot of money. That kind of money you can go to Mahwah and get a beautiful home on 5 acres

  5. You would have to be incredibly stupid to pay the ask and the taxes that go along with it.
    Who the duck would want to live in Ridgewood anyway.

  6. 35-homes listed for sale above $1,000,000 in the village with another 15-homes under contract above $1,000,000. Still an active market.

  7. Wait! Mahwah still has that kind of space? I doubt it. Mahwah is being massacred by high density just every other town.

  8. Sad…The home is on the site of my grandparents’ house that they built in the 1930s after moving from Bayonne. My grandfather was a family doctor and had his office on the first floor. He had a huge vegetable garden in the back yard below my grandmother’s yellow roses and crabapple trees. Many croquet games were played there after the garden ended w/ his death in 1963. The property was bought and mostly torn down after my grandmother’s death in 1994. The small grove of pine trees planted by my grandfather nearly 80 yrs ago still stands.

    Maybe your idea of “active” from a realtors perspective but for the rest of the planet it just shows people want out.
