Ridgewood NJ, a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of South Maple Avenue and Dayton Street in Ridgewood on the morning of Wednesday, November 20, resulted in one individual being transported to The Valley Hospital for treatment.
The accident caused an SUV to be propelled onto the lawn of a nearby residential and commercial property. Responders from the Ridgewood Police Department, Ridgewood Fire Department, and EMS arrived promptly at the scene.
The victim, who sustained a non-life-threatening back and neck injury, was treated and transported by ambulance. A tow truck was called to remove the damaged SUV from the property.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Local residents and businesses in the area expressed relief that the injuries were not severe, despite the dramatic nature of the incident.
