Upper Saddle River NJ ,  the Group GreenUSR , is challenging Congressman Josh Gottheimer and his rival John McCann to debate the environment .

The Environmental Debate between Congressman Josh Gottheimer and his opponent attorney John McCann is being proposed by GreenUSR. Will small brook in Bergen County called Pleasant Brook/Saddle River oust popular Democratic Congressman who turned a blind eye to this unprecedented 10 month environmental disaster time will tell. John McCann is ready to rumble! So are GreenUSR members.

Derek Michalski from GreenUSR on Facebook said  , “CBS news crew from New York will travel on Monday to document 10 month “anniversary“ of this unprecedented environmental disaster in Upper and Saddle River. They will visit GreenUSR and Toll Brothers’ site. We also sent invites to NJDEP and EPA representatives to come to comment the situation live on the site. The footage of multiple storm water pollution incidents documented by GreenUSR volunteers over the course of past 10 months was sent to our Assemblywoman Holly Schepisi who in turn forwarded it to Congressman Josh Gottheimer and Governor Phil Murphy.”

Michalski  says , “Nothing was done (except words and e-mail exchanges) to stop this carnage so perhaps this continuous CBS coverage (first program was aired on April 23, 2018) would help. Bravo CBS for taking the lead! Also emerging political star John McCann commented to me yesterday that if Josh Gottheimer who prides himself to allegedly fight for clean water in NJ is not interested in this subject he would. John McCann is New Jersey new candidate for Congress and he promised me personally to make this urgent environmental subject a point of debate in this election debate. Since I know Josh Gottheimer personally I am going to ask these two candidates to meet together in GreenUSR and publicaly debate whether N.J. government did everything possible to prevent this 10 month destruction or not. Let’s debate Gentlemen! The people of Bergen County, dying fish, choking on mud turtles and the rest of Pleasant Brook/Saddle River aquifer will definately be listening. John already confirmed he will be available for comments on Monday. Josh, now is your turn to show you true environmental colors. We know you can write beautiful speeches (as a former White House writer) but now we need actions not words. Please either call me at 917-912-9245 or e-mail me at together@GreenUSR.org
