Ridgewood NJ, the Doc Walk was held on March 25 at the Duck Pond in Ridgewood . The Doc Walk was created to celebrate the life of Ridgewood’s Dr. Sheeraz Iqbal who after a long battle with cancer passed away .on Wednesday December 21st at 46 .Dr. Iqbal specialized in Pediatrics. Dr. Iqbal is and was affiliated with The Valley Hospital. “Doc” Iqbal, will be remembered as a legend of “The Dads’ Night Band” .
The turn out was significant and Agninshalah Collins and Mary Jo Guinchard both shared the feeling of the event, “A beautiful turnout Celebrating the life of Sheeraz Iqbal”

It is disgusting that some candidates chose to politicize this remembrance event by posting photos of themselves participating on their respective social media pages. Equally despicable behavior was displayed by the Ridgewood Village Council member who posed for photos with at least one of those candidates. You know who you are.

I noticed that too. This event was no time for political opportunism. Dads Night has historically steered clear of local politics so I wonder how those unfortunate photo ops came about.
