Paramus NJ, Paramus Police patrol officers reportedly administered two (2) doses of Narcan to the adult male driver of a dark colored 4-door Ford Fusion following a crash in which the vehicle careened off of Route 4 eastbound in Paramus at a high rate of speed, and came to rest after striking two (2) parked vehicles in front of Paramus Honda, West 120 Route 4 Paramus on Wednesday afternoon, 10/28. The victim was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus by a Paramus EMS ambulance. A paramedic team from The Valley Hospital assisted with patient evaluation and stabilization. Personnel from Paramus Fire Engine Companies #3 and #4 also responded, and attended to a massive crash related fluid spill. The victim’s heavily damaged vehicle was impounded by Paramus Police and towed from the scene. Both parked vehicles were also heavily damaged, but they were not immediately removed from in front of the car dealership. A news media report indicates that Paramus Police charged the injured driver with DUI and reckless driving.
