Fair Lawn NJ, Fair Lawn Police, Fair Lawn Fire Department, the Fair Lawn Rescue Squad, and Fair Lawn EMS personnel & vehicles responded to a single passenger car rollover crash at the intersection of Kershner Place and Prospect Street late Thursday night, 09/15. The driver of the vehicle, which rolled completely over and landed “right side up,” was transported by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center’s Main Campus with unspecified, non-life threatening, crash related injuries. Although a utility pole was destroyed during the crash, there were no apparent power outages in the area. A traffic control sign was also wiped out. Firefighters and Rescue Squad personnel attended to fluid spilled from the crashed vehicle, which was removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck. No word from police on the scene as to what may have caused the driver to lose control and hit the utility pole.
