On September 5, 2017, the Ridgewood Police Department arrested ADAM M. GROSS, a 37-year-old male from Bloomfield, NJ on charges of Theft of a Motor Vehicle, five counts of Burglary, and five counts of Theft of Moveable Property. This arrest is the result of an investigation by the Ridgewood Police Detective Bureau.

In August and September, multiple reports were made to the police department of burglaries to unlocked motor vehicles parking in residential driveways throughout the village. On September 3, 2017 an unlocked vehicle was stolen from a driveway on Crest Road. Leads were developed and detectives located the vehicle and GROSS in Paterson, NJ.

The Ridgewood Police Department would like to remind residents to lock your cars, even in your own driveway. Do not leave valuables visible in your vehicle at any time.

  1. This is easy.

Get a motion detection light installed on the front porch.
Then buy a camera from a service provider and point the camera at the driveway.
Oh yeah…lock your car at night.

Anything else I need to fix for you…?

  2. 37 years old… what a loser.
    .
the good news is that after the Ginormous Garage and Low Income Housing are built, we won’t have to import loser criminals… they’ll already be living in Ridgewood.
