As a result of the investigation, on Monday, April 11, 2022, ULISES RAMIREZ ARGUETA was arrested in Paramus, NJ, and charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(3); first-degree aggravated sexual assault, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(7); second-degree burglary, N.J.S.A. 2C:18-2; and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(1). ARGUETA was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.

Prosecutor Musella states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and he would like to thank the Englewood Police Department for its assistance with this investigation.

  2. It is a SHAME!!! Especially when the person committing the assault ADMITS IT IN COURT and walks out free because they are a CI (confidential informat). PURE FACTS!!!! Where are the victims rights with that????

  3. Something doesn’t make sense here. There has to be more to this story. The husband states he had just gotten to work when accused asked him to borrow his car to go buy empanadas. This indicates they worked and knew each other. Why is the wife naked and in bed when accused arrives? Kids wake up early even when schools are closed and they usually go straight to your room and wake you. Why would accused go to the house unless he knew the wife would not tell the husband? There’s a piece missing here.
