Fair Lawn Police Bust Catalytic Converter Thief after 6 Go Missing at Bus Depot

Fair Lawn NJ, on 6/13/22 at 5:41 am, Fair Lawn Police responded to the school bus depot at 18-02 River Road on a report of catalytic converters missing from six vehicles with a total loss of $18,000. Det. Chris O’Shaughnessy took over the investigation and was able to identify a suspect (identified by Det. Schmiedhauser of Butler Police) that he sent to surrounding police departments to assist in apprehending.
