Fair Lawn Police officer injured in a motor vehicle crash while responding to an emergency road rage call

Fair Lawn NJ, A Fair Lawn Police uniformed patrol officer was injured in a motor vehicle crash while responding to an emergency call early Wednesday afternoon, 12/14. The crash, involving the officer’s marked police cruiser and a black, 4-door passenger vehicle, occurred at the intersection of Saddle River Road and Van Duren Avenue, Fair Lawn. The officer’s injuries were reported to be non life threatening. The other driver was apparently uninjured. Both vehicles were removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck. Two (2) persons were said to be in custody in connection with the road rage incident/physical assault that the injured officer was responding to.
