Ridgewood NJ, many people have noticed the pro Roberta, Pro Aronsohn comments made by poster “Chris Peal”, Chris even saw fit to spew his anti Ridgewood anti the new council venom on this blog.

Brian’s point is spot-on. its just more witch-hunting by the Knool-Aid drinkers. As for Jackie….yeah, its all about you honey, we just need to hear from you and everything will be ok.
So how long will this Village Council play the “Blame Roberta” game as cover for their ineptness and their ridiculous agenda. Here’s another riddle; how many more Friends and Family will certain members of the Village Council get to hire?
The posts all stem from a Facebook page created on September 7th . One glance and its obvious the page is fake and from the rants clearly set up to attack the new Village Council and particularly the new Mayor Susan Knudsen. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100013295088739 .
“So how long will this Village Council play the “Blame Roberta” game as cover for their ineptness and their ridiculous agenda.” How long did the 3 Amigos blame Gabbert for all the problems of Ridgewood.
This is beyond ridiculous. So Roberta has to get someone, possibly herself, to make a fake facebook account to sing her praises and post nastiness about our new (and greatly improved) mayor. That whole group continues to make themselves the laughing stock of town. So glad they are gone, gone, gone.
Well that little fake face kind of resembles Evan Weitz?
Roberta has to have fake people defending her because in reality no actual people support her.
Nice try 8:04 (Is that you Roberta?)
.
Roberta and the prior council ran roughshod over the law and over the voters.
the honest current VC is working very hard now to fix the damage from the last council.
Does the former mayor and losing candidates have any friends wjth a history of using false internet stories to disparage coworkers? I can think of one guy.
Onward to true transparency and less wasted money.
WHO IS “THE STAFF” AT THE RIDGEWOOD BLOG AND WHY IS EVERYONE POSTING ANONYMOUSLY IF POSTING ANONYMOUSLY IS SUCH A PROBLEM?
The former mayor has a history of making anonymous calls/emails to employers of candidates he does not like.
Well who are YOU 7:44???
The point James is making about Chris Peal is that he is posting on non-anonymous discussion forums, where everyone is identified. And he is a fake. On anonymous sites like The Blog, well, everyone is anonymous. But on North Jersey and places like that, people are identified as themselves. Both types of discussion forums serve different purposes. On the North Jersey thing the only way Roberta could get someone to “go public” with support for her sorry ass was to have a fake facebook person. Who knows, maybe Chris Peal is Roberta. Or her husband Robert Carroll. Whatever.
On The Blog people are the most honest of all because they are not afraid of repercussions from their employer (if they work at village hall) or the board of ed (if they work for the school system) or their neighbors or school acquaintances. Let’s say you hate the teachers but your neighbor is a teacher. Well, you are not likely to post honestly your feelings on the contract negotiations if you have to identify yourself. In fact, you are likely to post whatever you think your neighbor wants to hear, because you want to remain friendly with the neighbors. Let’s say you are a fireman in town or your spouse is a cop. Well, you are not going to write anything negative about the village manager if you have to be identified in the posting, because this could impact your employment or that of your spouse. Supposing you are totally opposed to the parking garage but you live next door to a person with pro-garage signs all over his front lawn. Are you going to keep the peace in your little world or go to war with him by posting under your own name how much you oppose the garage? The online discussion forums in which everyone has to be identified tend to contain a lot of politically correct BS and not a great deal of gut-wrenching honesty.
Now there are some exceptions, some people who are more than willing to state their case and not worry about repercussions. To these people I say thank you, but I also suspect that they are not in any of the situations described in the previous paragraph.
The Blog = honesty = transparency = THE BLOG RULES
Everyone tries to criticize anonymity on The Blog, but the fact is you get utter honesty here and that is what we really need.
Thank you James Foytlin for serving our community so well.
