Ho Ho Kus NJ, Ho-Ho-Kus firefighters responded to a fire at Albert’s Café Amici on Sycamore Avenue early Thursday morning.
Additional crews from Near by towns were dispatched to respond mutual aid into Ho Ho Kus for a working fire Chiefs 830 and 840 as well as Engine 833 from Glen Rock responded to the scene. Additional mutual aid from Ridgewood Fire , Waldwick Fire Truck 641 responded on the second alarm fire at Cafe Amici , Wyckoff Fire , Allendale Fire Rescue 942 , Midland Park Fire , Paramus Fire , Fair Lawn Fire and others also assisted at the scene.
Firefighters could be seen entering the café as well as assessing the damage to the outside of the building, which appeared to have minor fire damage. No flames were visible from the outside of the cafe as of about 2:30 a.m.
Albert’s Café Amici initially opened in Wyckoff in 2002 and later opened a Ho-Ho-Kus location, according to the café’s website.
