Ridgewood NJ, Excessive rainfall may lead to flooding in the following areas:
- Portions of southern Connecticut, including Northern Fairfield, Northern Middlesex, Northern New Haven, Northern New London, Southern Fairfield, Southern Middlesex, Southern New Haven, and Southern New London.
- Northeast New Jersey, including Eastern Bergen, Eastern Essex, Eastern Passaic, Eastern Union, Hudson, Western Bergen, Western Essex, Western Passaic, and Western Union.
- Southeast New York, including Bronx, Kings (Brooklyn), New York (Manhattan), Northeast Suffolk, Northern Nassau, Northern Queens, Northern Westchester, Northwest Suffolk, Putnam, Richmond (Staten Island), Rockland, Southeast Suffolk, Southern Nassau, Southern Queens, Southern Westchester, and Southwest Suffolk.
The period of concern is from Wednesday afternoon through late Wednesday night. Excessive runoff from the heavy rainfall may lead to flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone areas. Urban and poor drainage areas are particularly vulnerable to flooding.
Rainfall amounts are expected to range from one to three inches, with locally higher amounts possible.

Ridgewood’s High school field( picture attached to this story) seems to have more water in it then Graydon pool! Which, FYI has been going on for a long time. What an outstanding job our Engineering dept. has done these many years!!
How many towns can proudly claim to have their municipal building, library, and major sports fields in major flood zones?
