Florida Women Charged with the Murder of Her Sister in Little Ferry

Little Ferry NJ, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Little Ferry Police Department investigated a homicide that occurred at 7 Sand Hill Court in Little Ferry on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. At approximately 4:00 p.m., the Little Ferry Police Department received a 911 call from 7 Sand Hill Court reporting that an occupant of the residence was the victim of a stabbing. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Omelly Domiguez, a 21-year-old female, deceased from a gunshot wound. A suspect has been taken into custody, and no other individuals are believed to have been involved.


Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of ANGIELLY DOMINGUEZ (DOB: 2/3/1995; single; unemployed) of 7350 Blanding Boulevard, Apt. 12, Jacksonville, Florida, on charges of murder, possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, and hindering her own apprehension.  The arrest is the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Little Ferry Police Department under the direction of Chief James Walters.

On Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the Little Ferry Police Department received a 911 call reporting a stabbing at 7 Sandhill Court, Little Ferry.  Officers responded and located 21-year-old Omelly Dominguez deceased with a gunshot wound to the head.

An investigation conducted by detectives from the Little Ferry Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit revealed that ANGIELLY DOMINGUEZ shot her sister, Omelly Dominguez.

On Tuesday, March 22, 2022, ANGIELLY DOMINGUEZ was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, N.J.S.A. 2C:11-3a(1); second-degree possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, N.J.S.A. 2C:39-4a(1), and third-degree hindering her own apprehension, N.J.S.A. 2C:29-3b(1).  She was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending her first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.

Prosecutor Musella states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and he would like to thank the New Jersey State Police, Bergen County Sheriff’s Office, and Little Ferry Police Department for their assistance in this investigation.
