Fair Lawn NJ, the Fair lawn Police department wished former Police Chief Van Houten a very happy “101st Birthday”. June 30, 1987, Chief Robert Van Houten retired after serving the Fair lawn Police department for 37 years.
Chief Van Houten is also a Word War 2 Navy Veteran. Fair Lawn Fire Department and EMS did birthday drive by. The chief enjoyed the day by sipping a Manhattan and it’s well deserved!
