Ridgewood NJ, an ordinance to establish two (2) reserved parking spaces and a loading zone for the new tenant of a former Ridgewood taxi stand was recently introduced by the Ridgewood Village Council.
VILLAGE OF RIDGEWOOD ORDINANCE NO. 4004 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 265 OF THE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF RIDGEWOOD, VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, AT SECTION 265-27, “TAXI STANDS” AND SECTION 265-72, “SCHEDULE XXII: LOADING ZONES” AND SECTION 265-73, “SCHEDULE XXIII: TAXI STANDS” BE IT ORDAINED by the Village Council of the Village of Ridgewood: Section 1. Chapter 265, Vehicles and Traffic of the Code of the Village of Ridgewood is hereby amended as follows:
ADD Chapter 265, Section 265-27, “Taxi Stands” C. The permitted user(s) of the designated parking spaces is a Village of Ridgewood authorized tenant of the building on North Broad Street, commonly known as the “Taxi Stand” .
Chapter 265, Section 265-72, “Schedule XXII: Loading Zones” Name of Street Side Time Limit Location Hours/Days North Broad Street West 7:00 am to 5:00 pm At the former Taxi Stand for All days the tenant of the building and users authorized by the Village Manager.
The public hearing for this ordinance is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 7:30 PM in the Village Hall courtroom.

What does Triplex Industries do that they require a loading zone in Ridgewood and how many spots are they getting? Do they live in Ridgewood, meaning that these spots will be used 24/7. Seems like a stretch. Another pal of Vagianos? The sign was made months ago, before voting on it??? Who is friends with the owner of this company?

It’s funny what goes on in the village. A massive fishing boat is stored in a parking spot at the V of R pollution plant all winter long foe 2 years now but I can keep a trailer in my backyard without getting a fine

I’m telling you, pay close attention to the story. There is something very fishy and there is definitely a connection between Kazmark, Vagianos, and the person who signed the lease.
I want to kind of deal man out these tenants because that place needs to be completely gutted out and rebuilt, talking about a big investment just redoing the inside. Who’s paying for that?
They’re talking about the water pollution plant in Glenrock, did the village purchase a boat. If not, why are we storing personal property at that location. We need to go to the bottom of this immediately.
