Ridgewood NJ, Bow Tie Partners, owners of the former Warner Theatre in Ridgewood, removed the partitions within the space and preserved the original architectural and decorative details of the building, with the objective of transforming it into a live performing arts venue.

  1. I hope we get some of the bands that play at the Capitol Theater and the Wellmont Theater.

  7. Multifamily. Nothing else works financially. The architects needed to assess the the bearing walls and how to incorporate the existing building into a new plan.

  8. For this to make money it will need to have high capacity.
That will DESTROY downtown Ridgewood on the weekends.
Especially when you see the types of shows that they book (and the crowd that that brings).

Hate on this comment if you want, but remember it in a year when I am proven right (again).

    1. And yet I’ll bet you and many others won’t fight a giant digital billboard coming to Ridgewood. That seems to be okay for people because it’s on Route 17 but the center of town is sacred. Face it once that gets passed, and likely Mayor Vagianos is in on this scheme thanks to his long time bestie Gail Price who probably brought it here in the first place, this firm will EXPECT more and more billboards throughout the village, just wait til you have a mini Vegas that will fulfill the dream of all of these business and building owners like Vagianos to rake it in. That’s what they are hoping for, right now the CBD is too tame for these development minded operators.

      1. The CBD isn’t just too tame, it’s lame. We’ve reached peak salon/cookie/mediocre overpriced restaurant. There’s a lot of dead space out there paying rent but not making it. The giant digital billboard is just an inevitable sign (pun intended) of the decline.

  10. Ridgewood part of NJ Motion and TV Commission’s “Film Ready” program?

  11. Mistake.
