Ridgewood NJ, All parking lots in the Central Business District, including the train station lot, will have free parking on the following Saturdays: December 7th, 14th, and 21st. This does not include the parking area by the Christmas tree (on the corner of East Ridgewood Ave. and Broad Street) or the parking area to the right of the train station parking lot (in the area across from the stores and restaurants on Godwin Avenue). Street meters will still be in effect. Come shop, dine, and enjoy FREE parking in the Village during the holiday season.
Free parking is great….. But not when it’s followed by a two page disclaimer. Only on certain days, in certain lots and not the ones around the stores. How do you advertise this on a billboard. Sigh
Why don’t you say free parking all during the Christmas season. Can u imagine all the business u will generate for small businesses!
Why are those 2 lots being singled out to not allow free parking? It would be much simpler to just say ALL lots and leave it at that. Also, for people visiting our village, a few “P” signs with arrows, indicating available parking areas would be helpful. Other towns like Montclair and Morristown do that.
