The Record
Boyd Loving plans his summer vacation in January most years, but only after Ridgewood’s Village Council has set its meeting schedule for the year. He has missed just two council meetings since 2000, and he has no intention of adding to the total.
Three cheers for Boyd and Roger. Hip, hip Hooray. Hip, Hip Hooray. Hip,hip, Hooray! Thanks for all you do for this town!
Give me a break….the article presented an accurate view from both sides. Gadflies like to think they are elected officials but they’re not. Contrary to the common misconception, we don’t live in a democracy, we live in a republic and no one goes to the polls each morning to vote on all the issues that need to be decided. Elect the best candidates and vote them out of office if you don’t like them but let them do their jobs!
just another attempt to name names and intimidate people who have the nerve to give a shit or stand in the way of the massive money grab by politicians and there allies
the the amigos are behind this they will stop at nothing to get there way
The three amigos would like nothing better than not having these people show up at meeting and questioning them. This way they can continue with their own personal agendas. The last time I looked this is still the USA The open public meeting act is not there to protect the politicians from the people but to protect people from politicians. We have a right to attend any and all public meeting and question our elected official if we feel there is a need for a subject to be clarified. This is what is going on in the government form the federal to the local. The elected official feel that they know better and they know what good for us so no one should question them.
The world according to the Bergen Record.
Boyd !
He’s our guy. Eat your heart out Glen Rock !!
Could Aronsohn have been any more unpleasant in his comments in the paper? Give us a break…….without Boyd and Roger we would have chaos. At least they have the FACTS and keep the elected egos in check.
Let’s see what happens with valley if the gadfly’s have any effect at all Hauck and uncle al won’t vote
At least he wasn’t as nasty as the Mayor of Englewood Cliffs.
I think the Englewood Cliff Mayor is absolutely right –repeated FOIA requests can be abusive and expensive. Instead of making government more efficient these abuses drain the process and the coffers of local govenment. I detest Aronsohn but he had the right response. Gadlies are a mixed bag, some positive impact, some distracting nonsense motivated by ego and personal agendas. In that regard they are not too much different than the elected officials they contend with.
thankfully you detest aronsohn
