Hasbrouck Heights Nj, at 8:30 am a borough of Hasbrouck Heights garbage truck flipped over closing all lanes of Route 17 north Thursday morning.
Hasbrouck Heights Fire Chiefs 60, 61, 62, Engine 1, Ladder 1, and Rescue 1 responded to Route 17 North and Franklin for a garbage truck that rolled over with a fluid spill.
The truck came down Franklin Avenue and turned onto Route 17 North . A load shift may have caused the vehicle to then overturn .The scene was cleared by noon , with all lanes reopened .
The driver was up and walking when police arrived and was then taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Bergen County hazmat were also on scene along with Hasbrouck Heights police and Hasbrouck Heights fire personnel.
