East Rutherford NJ, a 27-year-old Garfield woman died in a three-car crash on Route 3 in East Rutherford on early Friday morning . According to East Rutherford police the three crash happened at around 4 a.m. on Route 3 West at Route 120 . Two of the vehicles involved caught fire. Roads were closed.
Police sources reported that both East Rutherford and Secaucus police attempted to reach the unidentified victim, still trapped inside the burning car, but the flames proved too much to overcome. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
