Due to an additional recent positive COVID-19 case of unknown origin at George Washington Middle School, the date for the return to in-person instruction has been adjusted.
In person instruction will resume on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

A letter to parents and gradians states George Washington Middle School students should not participate in out of school activities during this time of remote learning.

No close contacts in school were found; therefore only the individual and family members are quarantined. We understand the level of concern regarding COVID-19.

  1. There was no covid notification included in that email. These teachers are just getting lazy.

  2. Open on Dec 23rd? That is a minimum day on the school calendar. Why the heck would you chance opening the school for 3 hours without any testing required. We thought Gorman was going to be better than Fishbein if only on an interim basis. Maybe Fishbein is still calling the shots.
