Ridgewood NJ, Village Engineer Christopher Rutishauser told Council members at last night’s meeting that suggested renovations to bathrooms at Graydon Pool would likely cost $180k-$240k, not including architectural fees.
Deputy Mayor Mike Sedon voiced concern about signing off on another “golden toilet “.
Hold onto your wallets folks because you know what typically happens to Rutishauser’s estimates – they double.
Another set of $400k bathrooms soon on the way.
The council rejected the proposal and is starting over.
I don’t see any problem. After all, Graydon makes ‘profits’!
Let’s hope you are right 1:31. The bathrooms are a mess at Graydon, but come on, a few tiles and toilets, what more do we need???
Toilets? I thought that was what the pool was for….
It’s no different to the pedestrian underpass that gets painted about every five years. The cost runs into the many thousands and looks like crap. A bunch of chimpanzees could do a neater job for the cost of a few bananas.
Why can’t they hire a private plumber to put in a few toilets and whatever. There are many who work around here, I have one to recommend or one of the many trucks that frequently work in Ridgewood.

For God’s sake, why do we need a fancy architect. Put up a few new tiles. Install a few new toilets. Done.
Those bathrooms have needed a redo for years. Hopefully adding natural light and air (windows).
We all update our bathrooms every 20 years or so.
Was the photo one of the Golden Throne the one Sasaam Housein had shined up every morning in one of his castles in the desert in the Heightd of Bagdad…parking problems there too …too many large convoys of troops and administration ..

We do not all redo our bathrooms OR our libraries every 20 years. Not necessary at all.
this is bull shit. put the money into repaving parking lot’s in the c b d. what the hell is going in in this town. who is running things. what a mess.
