Asbury Park NJ, another case of Democrat immunity ? New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy was caught mask less at an indoor ball weeks after imposing a mask mandate for young children in school.
The Mask Mandate Democratic governor attended the Equality Ball on Friday put on by the nonprofit Garden State Equality with other New Jersey officials at the Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, a part of the Monmouth County that has the highest risk of COVID-19 transmission, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Attendees were caught with their masks down .
So, as defined by Murphy’s own guidance, he was in a situation where: there was “close contact with those who may not be fully vaccinated” and “where the vaccine status of others isn’t known,” and therefore, a mask is recommended.
While preaching masks and vaccines the election year event featured attendees to the dinner mask less, as revealed by pictures posted online, and Governor Murphy as well as Representative Frank Pallone, D-N.J., were seen not wearing masks.
Several state lawmakers spoke out on the governor’s mask less gallivanting including GOP Gubernatorial hopeful Jack Ciattarelli who slammed Murphy over reports the governor and other attendees did not wear masks at an indoor ball hosted by Garden State Equality in Asbury Park this past weekend.
