My kids love it!!
“They” complain Graydon is empty and doesn’t make money . Yet they weren’t open Memorial Day weekend ? Don’t they think they could have made some bank that day with the race and all? Crest wood lake was open as well as Paramus Pool . It’s common sense ! They have increased the daily pass by $5!. I’m assuming this means it will be clear and clean like every other man made lake around here . Haha .
graydon actually makes money
Yes the pool should’ve been open for that day weekend. But I looked at the water today it’s filthy.
I’m here right now They need to dump some Corine in the water. Looks like a swamp. I’m going down the shore
James is right – Graydon does turn a profit. I don’t personally enjoy lake swimming, so I haven’t been there to swim since my kids were smaller, but SO many Ridgewood people love it! They count on it. I did a beach yoga class there last season – it was fun…. There are lots of fun activities offered there – including a place to play volleyball on sand! My husband grew up (for most of his childhood) in this town and summers at Graydon rank among his fondest memories.
If it’s part of the local culture, looks nice and turns a profit, why do so many people bear such a disproportionate animus toward it? It doesn’t make sense. I’m asking this as a genuine question – someone please shed light on this for me. What’s the harm? Am I missing something?

because they want to scam the taxpayers, and spend those big kick backs on a home in low tax Florida
