Ridgewood NJ, Green Way Markets of Ridgewood announces its one-year anniversary grand reopening celebration on Friday, May 6th. The community is invited to sample specialty food items, browse the aisles of the supermarket’s new design and expanded assortment, and, ask questions of Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Jacqueline Gomes who will be onsite from 10:30am – 1:30pm.

Last spring, the store opened as Green Way Markets, replacing the former Kings supermarket. Now, it proudly unveils its complete re-model and updated design, which was delayed due to COVID restrictions.

Shoppers will enjoy a more contemporary look with new décor styling; onsite fresh baked goods featuring a wide assortment of new gourmet pies, fresh layer cakes, and single serve options; an expanded liquor section with case discounts, an extensive line of chilled wines, prosecco and champagnes, half bottles for dining out convenience, a wide array of craft beers, and special ordering; and enhanced produce and cheese sections. Also, to meet the wishes of those living in the area over 2,000 natural, organic and specialty items – many of which you won’t find elsewhere – have been added.

The community will also be able to save time and eat better with many more prepared food offerings for those with on-the-go active lifestyles and families. A plentiful selection of healthy grab-and-go meals will be available for those who are coming home from work and don’t have time to prepare dinner. Also, fresh sushi, hot foods and soups are now top items.
