HACKENSACK, NJ — A lottery player in Bergen County is waking up a whole lot richer this week. The New Jersey Lottery announced on Wednesday that a single lucky ticket matched all five numbers to claim a massive $331,190 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot.

Where Was the Winning Jersey Cash 5 Ticket Sold?

According to lottery officials, the winning ticket for the Monday, July 13 drawing was purchased at the Stop & Shop located on West Pleasantview Avenue in Hackensack, NJ.

In addition to making one local player a brand-new thousands-of-the-dollars winner, the Hackensack grocery store is getting a nice perk of its own—the retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus check from the state just for selling the winning ticket.

The Winning Numbers

The lucky Jersey Cash 5 numbers for the Monday night drawing were: 02, 11, 13, 14, and 29, with the Bullseye number being 29 and the XTRA multiplier at 02.

Monday’s drawing turned out to be a lucky night for more than just the jackpot winner. An additional 28 players successfully matched four out of the five balls along with the Bullseye to take home a base prize of $500 each. Thanks to the XTRA option, eight of those secondary winners saw their prizes instantly double to $1,000.

Following the big Hackensack win, the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot resets to a guaranteed $160,000 baseline for the next drawing.

Jersey Cash 5 is a popular daily draw game run by the New Jersey Lottery. To play, participants select five numbers from a field of 1 through 45.
