Becker’s gathered this data from self-reported figures provided by individual hospitals. The most recent available list reported ED visits for 2021, and for the majority of hospitals, there was an increase in visits during 2022. It’s important to note that hospitals reported data based on either the calendar year or the fiscal year 2022, and figures related to the fiscal year are marked with an asterisk. Additionally, the start and end dates for the fiscal year may vary from one hospital to another.
