Glen Rock NJ, be advised the areas of Harristown Road, Rock Road, and Doremus Avenue will be closed for July 4th events, 5K tribute run and parade. These road will be closed between the hours of 7 am to 12 pm.
July 4th celebration events will being at 7:30 AM and run through about 11:30AM. Expect traffic delays.
Expect intermittent road closures and traffic delays throughout the morning from of July 4th from 7:30 AM until approximately 11:30 AM. If you must travel, leave home early, expect delays and plan alternate routes. Once the roadways close for the Tribure Run or the IDA Parade traffic will not be permitted to enter the roadway until the run and parade have cleared.
GRACE Tribute Run 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM
Begins at Veteran’s Park on Main Street and will involve the following street closures:
- Main Street
- Rock Road
- Doremus Avenue
- Ackerman Avenue
- Broad Street
- Harding Road
IDA Parade
Begins setting up by the Glen Rock High School at 8 AM
- Hamilton Avenue
- Radburn Road
- Belmont Road
Parade Begins at 9:30 AM
- Harristown Road
- Highland Road
- Rock Road – including CBD
- Doremus Avenue – ending at the pool
