Paramus NJ, a Hasbrouck Heights man was arrested after making terrorist threats to kill people at the Garden State Plaza mall in Paramus . After receiving a tip from another Hasbrouck Heights resident , the Hasbrouck Heights Police found the man was not home and contacted the Paramus Police .
Paramus police first located Frank Passaro, 66, of Hasbrouck Heights unoccupied vehicle on the third level of the Garden State Plaza parking garage . Paramus Emergency Service Units responded along with the Bergen County Regional SWAT .
He was found after a police search and was arrested unarmed without incident in the north parking garage at the Garden State Plaza early Friday afternoon, February 18th .
According to police Passaro was not previously known and was charged with multiple counts of making terroristic threats before being taken to Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus for an evaluation.
