Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Office of Emergency Management reported that the Village of Ridgewood experienced severe flooding and multiple roads were impassable. Some homes have experienced flooding as a result of the volume of water.
Ridgewood Emergency Services said Wednesday night was the worst in weather, which once again, brought out our amazing Emergency Services volunteer First Responders.
Leaving their homes, 15 volunteers worked tirelessly throughout the night, responding to over 55 requests for help, in 7 trucks. Included were EMS requests, lighting, generator power and road closures working with the Village Police and Fire Departments.
