Ridgewood NJ, during Thursday evening’s Ridgewood Village Council Budget Meeting, Mayor Paul Vagianos said this about the likelihood of hiring a new Village Manager: “I don’t know if we’re going to be able to find someone for the number we have plugged in.” Translation = Whatever salary the Village has budgeted for the position, isn’t likely to attract a qualified candidate.
Ain’t that a kick in the butt. The “normals” summarily fire Heather Mailander, but don’t have enough money budgeted to hire a qualified replacement. What a bunch of idiots. The staff of The Ridgewood Blog just could not make something like this up, no matter how hard we tried!

After the Vag is told who to hire, you can guarantee they won’t have any real qualifications, but they will obey very well. This council majority is just like the previous Aronhson gang. Once they install their puppet, Vag will control the manager- aka the hiring authority for the Village. That means he can threaten employees with their jobs to do whatever sleazy, illegal deeds he needs done to pay back his campaign donors, and also bonus he can use the zoning officer to silence and intimidate anyone who disagrees with him. Just like last time. If you speak at a public meeting you can bet there will be two things that scum listens to, your name and address. Your comments will fall on def ears, but you will have some nice fat, made up property maintenance fines to pay because the manager can be ordered to send the zoning officer to your house to find something because Vag didn’t like you telling the truth at his meeting the previous evening. Between Vag and the twit the truth has no place at Village council meetings anymore, just lies and propaganda.
