Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, Councilman Kevin Crossley joined the Ho-Ho-Kus Ambulance Corps as a daytime driver/lifter amid a volunteer staff shortage. As Borough Liaison to the Department, Crossley decided to step up in their time of need.
The Ho-Ho-Kus Ambulance Corps has been serving our community since 1956, faithfully providing around-the-clock pre-hospital emergency care and transportation to the residents of Ho-Ho-Kus and honorably serving on the frontline throughout the pandemic.
Now, the Corps is in active pursuit of new members and is calling upon the community for volunteers who want to learn life-saving skills and have a passion for helping others.
For those interested in becoming an EMT or driver, please fill out the prospective member form at hhkvac.org or contact Margaret Pearson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Additionally, potential volunteers may attend squad meetings on the last Monday of each month at 55 Sycamore Ave, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ 07423 (ambulance building). All training is provided, age 16 or older to become an EMT, or age 21 to become a driver.
