Teaneck Council Votes in Favor of Holy Name Medical Center Expansion

Teaneck NJ, the Teaneck Township Council voted 6-0-1 in favor of expanding the hospital zoning district surrounding Holy Name on Tuesday. The council moved forward after ignoring a petition signed by 45 residents challenging the hospital expansion .

One Councilperson , Councilwoman Karen Orgen recused herself , citing a relative who works for Holy Name Medical Center . Mayor James Dunleavy and five others voted in favor of the measure.
