What is Holi?

Holi, often called the Festival of Colors, is an ancient Hindu festival that marks the arrival of spring and symbolizes the victory of good over evil. It’s celebrated with bonfires, music, dancing, and the playful throwing of colored powders—each color representing a deeper meaning:

🎨 Blue – Honoring Lord Krishna
🌱 Green – New beginnings & spring harvest
❤️ Red – Marriage & fertility
💛 Yellow – Happiness & prosperity

  1. Is there any danger the colorful powder might enter the lungs?

    1. Really? A simple Google search is all you need to do. Rather you prefer to raise issues that do not exist. If you’re worried, just stay away and don’t have fun. These people are a warm, fine, and very welcoming community. These corn starch products are safe – and FUN!

    2. I’m sure they only use the finest, premium-grade non-toxic food coloring, etc. Of course, everything else around you — the air, the water, the food — is poison, so what difference does it make?
