  4. Village Manager appears to be another charlatan. According to him, on Jan 2 the calendar was at the printer. Three weeks later and still nothing. #flipthescript

  9. Well, it took him three major storms, repeated flooded homes/fields and five months to finally get Village Staff to clear downed trees from the river/brook. No one should be surprised that any consideration would be given to getting the calendar right.

  10. How hard is it to print an annual calendar and distribute to residents on time?

  11. “I can’t flip the page” 😂😭

  12. At the very least release the digital copy. Sheesh, at this point we’ll take a PDF. #fliptothink

  13. I imagine Keith doesn’t care if mistakes are made. Part of it is management of resources that are also accountable for making mistakes while making big $. Unfortunately he stepped into a pile of sh*t and probably thought Ridgewood was going to be easy peasy and he had the backing of the mayor who brought him here. Instead, he is going to be held accountable by residents who are tired of listening to the BS that is being communicated by the worst mayor and worst council, except for Ms. Reynolds, why because she is honest and really trying to to the best job she can and the rest of them are running around thinking that they are doing important things but they are actually a bunch of self serving idiots with a checkbook that we pay for.

    1. Manger is costing tax payers 300k a year and we can’t expect a calendar to be released on time.

  17. Slow down, everyone. This year it is being done in calligraphy. That is why it is taking so long, it was Siobahn’s idea and it will look really nice, kind of like a work of art. Check!

    1. The scary funny part is that it’s so credible. Imagine calligraphy on organic, hand-bleached parchment…delivered in march

  18. Ahhh, the Ridgewood Blog.

    1. the inconvenience of paying huge taxes and Village not being able to complete a simple task , when you get a job and live on your own you will think a lot more about things like taxes and the value of money

    2. The ‘fossils’ ? Do you mean the long time residents who made this the nice place to live so you NYC transplants could come here and whine and bitch for 10 years before moving back to that shithole of NYC?

  20. Who needs a calendar? All this over a calendar? Haven’t looked at one in years. You know what day the trash goes out. Recyclables. It’s a waste of money. It needs to go away like the phone book, 411, and buggy whips. Try to be helpful, not hurtful.

  21. $200k or $250k/year salary. Let that sink in.

  22. I don’t care I’m bringing everything to the curb. I don’t want anyone in my backyard.

    1. go back to your trailer park

  23. got my calender today
whats all the bitching about can’t you newbies read

  24. Hey if you can spend $60 K on designer garbage cans, you should be able to print a calendar. It isn’t rocket science but Ridgewood also has a mountain of problems right now with flooding and other concerns and residents aren’t happy, not just about the delay with the calendar, but real issues affecting people. They are not happy with this mayor and majority council and their pet projects. Just wait til your garbage needs to be picked up and can’t be because they don’t have enough trucks and have to raise your taxes and bond more.
