Infant Rushed to Valley Hospital After Beating

Ridgewood NJ, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo announced the arrest of TRAVIS WEBER (DOB: 02/10/1991; single; unemployed) of New Milford, New Jersey on charges of Aggravated Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti and the New Milford Police Department under the direction of Officer-In-Charge Kevin Keine.

On Wednesday, February 6, 2019, the New Milford Police responded to a 911 call of an unresponsive infant who was not breathing. The infant was transported to the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey. At the Valley Hospital, upon medical evaluation, physical injuries on the infant’s head were noted that were indicative of trauma. An investigation was initiated by the New Milford Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit. During the investigation, it was learned that the infant had been in the custody of TRAVIS WEBER when the injuries occurred.

As a result of the investigation, on Thursday, February 14, 2019, TRAVIS WEBER was charged with one count of Aggravated Assault, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:12-1b(1), a 2nd degree crime; and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4A, a 2nd degree crime. He was placed under arrest for the above charges and is being held pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing in Hackensack, New Jersey to be determined. The infant has been released from Valley Hospital and is in the custody of family members.

  1. True justice would be for Travis’ cellmates beat him SAVAGELY while he’s incarcerated!! And, hopefully that innocent little baby makes a full and speedy recovery!
