New Milford NJ, A two-car collision in New Milford on Wednesday morning led to a high-pressure gas leak and the evacuation of several homes, according to police.
River Edge NJ, on April 12 at approximately 2:05 pm, New Milford Fire Department was dispatched for a water rescue at the 100 block of New Bridge Road. New Milford Fire Chief 301 was first on scene along New Milford and River Edge Police. New Milford’s Marine 38 squad responded with their Boat and rescue team. Mutual aid from River Edge and Oradell Fire Departments responded with there rescue boats as well.

New Milford NJ, The New Milford Police Department is looking for the public’s assistance with locating a missing 16 year old juvenile who ran away from her residence on 12/08/2018. The juvenile’s name is Cynthia Frank and she is described as being 5 feet tall, 120 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple zip-up jacket, black pants, and Ugg style books. Anyone with information of her whereabouts can contact the New Milford Police Department at 201-261-1400.
Oradell NJ, A pedestrian trespasser was fatally struck by a NJ Transit Pascack Valley Line train just south of New Milford Avenue in Oradell on Wednesday evening, 06/20. The train, carrying dozens of passengers, was traveling from Hoboken to Spring Valley, NY. No injuries to any passengers of members of the train crew were reported. Passengers on board when the incident occurred were taken to their final destinations by NJ Transit buses. NJ Transit Police, Oradell Police, and New Milford Police officers were observed at the scene. Oradell Fire Department and a paramedic unit from Hackensack University Medical Center also responded to the scene.
New Milford NJ, A Toyota 4 Runner rolled over on its side following a collision at the intersection of Boulevard and Henley Avenue in New Milford on Wednesday afternoon, 01/18. The 4 Runner’s female driver was successfully extricated from the vehicle (through a sunroof) by New Milford FD personnel, The other vehicle involved in the collision, a Toyota Camry sedan, sustained heavy front end damage. Both vehicles were removed from the scene by flatbed tow trucks. No information was available as to the nature of injuries sustained, if any, by either vehicles’ occupants. New Milford PD & FD responded, along with a BLS ambulance from Holy Name Medical Center. A MONOC Emergency Physician’s vehicle was also observed at the incident.
