East Rutherford NJ, a Jersey City man was arrested by New Jersey State Police on Saturday night following a stabbing incident at the American Dream parking deck.
The Incident
New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan reported that Raquan Howard, 29, was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and criminal mischief.
Details of the Incident
The stabbing occurred around 10:56 p.m. in the parking deck. Howard is accused of stabbing a 28-year-old man, who was subsequently transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim’s name has not been disclosed.
Arrest and Charges
Howard was arrested at the scene and taken to the Bergen County Jail, where he is currently awaiting a detention hearing.
Ongoing Investigation
Sgt. Marchan stated that the police are actively investigating the incident and have not released additional information at this time.
