Ridgewood NJ, according to the Paramus Police Department a knife-wielding man involved in an aggravated domestic violence incident fled from police and resisted arrest.
Paramus police chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said Keith Hanlon, 41, of Ridgewood, was arrested armed with a butcher knife in the domestic violence incident Sunday, and was “extremely irate” , struggling with police while being put in handcuffs.
Hanlon fled the scene of the domestic violence incident shortly after 8:15 p.m. in Ridgewood, where he apparently said on one occasion that he wished to be killed by police. Several minutes later, he was spotted by Paramus Police officers pulling into an office building lot on Route 4 East, Chief Ehrenberg said.
There Officers tried to speak with Hanlon, at which point he became irate, slammed the car door shut and drove to a different area of the Atrium’s parking lot. Paramus Police then deployed spike strips under the tires of Hanlon’s vehicle, and attempted to negotiate with him for 20 minutes.
Hanlon continued to refuse to communicate and turned his car radio to full volume, struggled with officers, finally arrested and taken to an area hospital for evaluation. He was charged with resisting arrest and domestic violence.
Disturbia
I’m sure the Democrats in Trenton will now impose a 7 day waiting period to buy a knife
In fact this is a simple case of defamation towards the suspected criminal. The real story will be heard, and real actions will be taken.
Sure, psycho.
Not likely, Mr. Hanlon. You’re just snips and snails and puppy dog tails (chopped up with Butcher’s Knifes, of course), and they’re all sugar and spice and everything nice.
