Paramus NJ, Monday night’s dinner rush took an unexpected twist at the Chick-fil-A on Route 17 in Paramus, NJ. A Hyundai Tucson SUV, driven by a hungry and hurried motorist, ended up off the beaten path—literally—crashing into an embankment just moments before the restaurant’s 10 PM closing.
The Drive-Thru Dash Gone Wrong
The incident unfolded at around 9:50 PM, as the driver, eager to make it to Chick-fil-A before the clock struck 10, sped into the parking lot. In their haste, they misjudged their approach, sending the vehicle up a slope and into an awkward position that required a flatbed tow truck to set things right.
Paramus police responded promptly, and fortunately, neither the driver nor the passenger sustained any injuries in the mishap.
A Warm Welcome Despite the Chaos
Despite the commotion and the Hyundai’s precarious position, Chick-fil-A’s staff showed their signature hospitality. They accommodated the driver and passenger, ensuring their late-night meal cravings were satisfied, even as the restaurant officially closed its doors.
A Reminder to Take It Slow
While this story had a happy (and full-bellied) ending, it serves as a lighthearted reminder to slow down, even when chasing your favorite waffle fries and chicken sandwiches. Safe driving beats a dinner-time detour up an embankment any day!

Just when you think you’ve heard everything. How dumb.
And that chicken is overrated, it’s pretty good, and it’s such bullshit that it’s not open on a Sunday, whatever
For the Christian owners, Sunday is a day of rest, the Lord’s Day, the Sabbath. It’s not “such bullshit”. Whatever. Popeyes is a few hundred feet north. What a creep.
